How to Learn Polish at Home?
- watch Polish TV programmes - some can be quite easy to understand (eg. weathercast, sport, charts)
- listen to Polish radio and practise understanding
- find online friend from Pol and - you will be able to learn something about Polish culture, behaviour and current situation in Poland
- read Polish leaflets, newspaper adds - mostly they use simple vocabulary and expressions that can be understandable
- buy books for learning Polish alone - they have CD's included that will help you with pronuciation
- stick small paper cards with daily vocabulary in Polish all around you (eg. on the walls in your house) - it will help to remember the most used Polish vocabulary
- if you are music listener try to find your favourite Polish band or singer and translate the lyrics using Polish dictionary - learning with fun is usually more efficient!
